Entrepreneurship & Digital Marketing

  • New in 2026–2027: Program-specific course content will be weighted as Honors-level coursework. See Program Coursework below for more details.

Prerequisites: Entrepreneurship Program & Digital Marketing

    • Must be a Junior
  • This two-year program prepares students for careers and continued study in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and creative business fields. Coursework blends business fundamentals, marketing strategy, design, multimedia production, and data analysis. Students should expect an academically focused course that requires planning, reflection, and consistent effort across multiple disciplines.

  • This program is highly applied and project-‘driven. During the first year, students work as part of a team to build a business from the ground up. In the second year, students establish, market, and maintain a business or help manage the school store, applying skills related to product development, inventory management, customer service, and operations.

  • Students learn to grow and manage a social media presence and apply digital and social media marketing strategies to promote business ideas. Instruction includes branding, advertising, content creation, campaign analysis, and ethical considerations related to digital platforms. Students are expected to analyze trends, measure performance, and adjust strategies to meet real‑world expectations.

  • High-quality, work-based learning is an integral part of the program. Students apply their skills through real business operations, participation in entrepreneurial initiatives, and hands-on experiences connected to the CUBE and ACEPRENEURS competition, where students may compete for funding to expand their businesses. These experiences require initiative, accountability, and professional conduct.

  • Students are expected to participate in DECA, a Career and Technical Student Organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

As a part of DECA, students will work towards achieving Gold Level School Based Enterprise (SBE) recognition of the school store: The CUBE

In addition to earning course credit, students will work toward industry‑recognized credentials, including:

These credentials allow students to graduate with documented skills, certifications, and career preparation-not just a grade.

  • This program operates with expectations aligned to professional business and entrepreneurial environments. Students are expected to:

    • Purchase specific work attire for daily wear when attending ACE classes and events
    • Display a visible ID badge at all times
    • Demonstrate professional behavior, punctuality, accountability, and respectful communication

Entrepreneurship and digital marketing require persistence, adaptability, and professionalism. Students are expected to meet these standards consistently, as their decisions and effort directly affect business outcomes and program success.
